What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text records a website may place in a browser. Local storage is a related browser feature that keeps a value on a device without sending it automatically with each page request. This site currently uses local storage to remember the cookie-banner choice. Our host may use essential security records necessary to serve pages safely.
Categories
Essential storage supports a requested function, such as remembering whether the notice was accepted or rejected. It cannot be disabled through our banner because the choice itself needs to be remembered, though it can be removed in browser settings.
Analytics storage would help count visits and understand page use. We do not currently activate an analytics service. The Accept control records permission so one could be introduced consistently with this notice; we would update the table before doing so. Rejecting does not block training pages, forms, or contact details.

vaultportgrid_cookie_consent | Remembers “accepted” or “rejected” so the banner does not repeat | Until manually cleared | Vault Portgrid, stored in your browser |
No advertising or cross-site profiling cookie is set by our own scripts.
Public images and third parties
Pages request publicly hosted photographs from Unsplash. That provider receives technical request information, such as IP address and browser headers, and may apply its own essential controls. Google Fonts is also requested for the printed-document typography. These providers operate under their own privacy and cookie notices; Vault Portgrid cannot read cookies they may independently set on their domains.
Managing or disabling storage
Use the banner’s Accept or Reject button on the first visit. To change the choice later, clear site data for vaultportgrid.world in browser privacy settings and reload the page. Browsers also allow cookies or local storage to be blocked globally, deleted at exit, or controlled per site.
Blocking our preference value means the banner may reappear because the site cannot remember your answer. It does not prevent access to content or the enquiry form. Blocking third-party image requests may leave photographs blank while written material remains available.
Changes and questions
If we add analytics, the provider, name, purpose, and duration will be listed here before activation and consent will remain optional. For questions, email contact@vaultportgrid.world. See the broader handling of personal information in our Privacy Notice.
