Who the day is for
This workshop suits self-directed stock, forex, or index traders who already understand basic candles and order types. It is especially useful when entries look reasonable but losses vary wildly because stops move, size is guessed, or exits are improvised.
It is not an introduction to brokerage software, a signal room, or personal investment advice. Complete beginners should ask about preparation before reserving.
What we practise
Morning exercises separate an attractive pattern from a complete trade thesis. Participants annotate swing points, support and resistance, average range, and the exact level where their reading no longer holds. We compare structural and volatility-based stops without hunting for a universally “correct” distance.
After lunch, each participant converts a fixed account-risk allowance into a position size. Worked examples account for entry-to-stop distance, instrument value, fees, and slippage. The final drill produces an entry condition, invalidation point, initial size, profit-management rule, and no-trade condition.
The workshop ledger
- A printed risk worksheet and annotated chart pack
- Position-size drills using Philippine and international market examples
- A one-page pre-trade checklist
- Guided review of two completed plans
- A blank journal page to reproduce after the class
Bring a calculator, pencil, and laptop or tablet if you prefer digital charts. Sample charts are supplied, so no brokerage login is needed. Never share account credentials in class.
Facilitator and teaching approach
Lead facilitator Elena Ramos has spent twelve years studying technical market structure and teaching adult learners in small groups. She keeps the discussion on process: what evidence was visible, how much was at risk, and whether the written rule was followed. No outcome is treated as proof that a poor decision was sound.
Before, during, after
Once a place is confirmed, we send a short experience questionnaire and preparation sheet. On the day, demonstrations alternate with individual marking and paired chart reviews. Within three business days, participants receive clean copies of the worksheets and a suggested twenty-trade journaling exercise.
Limits worth knowing
Historical examples cannot reproduce live fills, gaps, spreads, or emotional pressure. Training does not remove market risk and does not guarantee profit. We do not assess whether any instrument is suitable for your finances; consult a licensed financial professional for personal advice.
